Isomac Millennium

Recommended Posts

Isomac Millennium E61 HX machine which I purchased during lockdown. The machine was working extremely well when I purchased it and had no leaks or anything untoward, no scale etc but it did need a service. I have just given the machine a thorough service including:

Complete strip of E61 group head.

Strip and rebuild of steam and hot water valves.

Replaced all valves, springs, gaskets and cam in the group head.

Partial strip, clean and rebuild of machine internals.

Upgraded vacuum breaker valve so that it vents into the drip tray.

Upgraded water tank micro switch.

Replaced silicone hoses that go to and from the water tank.

Cafelat silicon group head gasket.

Internal visual inspection of boiler.

Precautionary descale throughout although there was little to no evidence of scale build up.

The machine also already has an improved MATER pressure stat fitted which is incredibly easy to adjust should you wish. You just remove one side panel which is attached with five small screws.

I’ve made several drinks since the machine was serviced, approximately a dozen or so and it works beautifully and makes excellent coffee. It’s a group head thermometer away from being a spot on home set up that I would keep if it wasn’t for the fact I already have other machines.

There are some superficial marks to the machine. Most notably micro scratches to the drip and cup tray areas. A small ding in the drip tray and a few on the group head. Also, the brass is visible in the bottom of one of the portafilter handles. None of this affects the function of the machine what so ever. See pics for more detail.

Included in the sale is a double spout, single spout and bottomless portafilter, back flushing disc and five baskets.

I am happy to arrange for shipping at the buyers expense, collection is also fine subject to lockdown restrictions. I am 15 minutes east of Buckingham.

£550

Payment via bank transfer but PayPal is also acceptable if buyer agrees to pay the fees.

GLWTS. I'm sure this will be an excellent buy for someone. Nice to see you've upgraded the pressure stat too. These things really need it as they're known to go on these machines.

Hi. Could you measure the depth. I only have one potential place for it (that would pass the other half test).

Apologies. I did measure it but didn’t add to the text.

450mm deep

280mm wide

360mm tall (396mm inc cup rail)

Cup rail can be removed.

Ah thanks for uploading.  I'll have to measure my counter top again later tonight but I think it's going to be ever so slightly too big.

Hi. Yes too big I’m afraid. Have opted for another forum members Gaggia Classic to cut my teeth on until I move house (18months from now fingers crossed).  I’m sure somebody else will get the best from it though.

Hi Broadie

if you fail to sell on e-bay I'll buy this from you at £500. Of course I understand if you have sold or get a better offer. Cheers.

Happy to honour the £500 ex shipping offer as above.

It is on eBay at £600 ex shipping.

It is listed on eBay but not on an auction, it’s essentially a classified ad so I can remove anytime without contravening eBay’s policies. I’d prefer it went to a member here.

Let me know if you’re happy and We can move to PM
