Vibiemme Domobar in great condition (~10 years old)

Recommended Posts

Hi coffee friends, I've got a Vibiemme Domobar and an Iberital grinder which I bought about 10 years ago from one of my first pay cheques. Was a huge investment for me, but I had spend the previous 6 months working in a proper barista cafe and loved it, so wanted to replicate at home while studying.

It's served me very well over the years but I didn't use it very much for the last 2-3 years really (too busy at work, not spending much time at home). Now I've been getting back into it, with lockdowns and all, and was very glad to see that it still works perfectly, and still looks stunning (especially after a decent polish).

I've been thinking about upgrading to a dual boiler recently, so was wondering how much it still might be worth. Any thoughts much appreciated! It's always been v well-kept, only filtered/bottled water and descaled periodically. Has an EU plug as originally purchased in Germany, but has been working absolutely fine with a UK adapter. I also still have the original box with paddings etc, so shipping is possible (although probably not very cheap). I'm based in North London.

Thanks everyone!
