Hi All,

Looking for some advice, I'm thinking of fitting a PID to my Francino Classico as a lock-down project

Q1 Is it a good idea? is there any point/gain in doing it?

Q2 Has anyone got any experience with fitting a PID to this machine, if not would it differ much from fitting one to a similar machine?

Q3 Whats the best PID?

Thanks in advance

Speak to Mr Shades. He made a custom probe to replace the pressurestat in my Zaffiro. His PID works brilliantly.
Really?? I was told if your running a machine with a pstat it's not worth putting a pid on. Is there any poss you could put a few pics up so I can get an idea of it as I may look into this aswell for my cherub. Would most appreciate it thanks

I don’t have a pic of the probe. It was a pointed metal tube with a rubber stopper at the open end that kept the thing watertight at the point the wires entered it. Mr Shades just needed photos and accurate dimensions (I used digital callipers) and he made it up for me.
