Urgent help: Black screw with nut

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! I just opened my eureka mignon Manuale up.

Remove top burr, bottom burr, chute to clean. I turned it upside down to dust and a black screw with nut dropped out. I have no idea where this goes to.

any idea?

Thank you!

I do not know the machine BUT . The item looks like and an adjuster/ retainer with a lock nut ?.

It is also possible that it ""found"" its way in during assembly and has been lay in the bottom ever since ?

Hmm okay... it seems very clean tho.

After removing my bottom burr to clean, and reattaching it, my eureka mignon’s grind settings changed. Any idea it could be due to this screw?

Being pointed usually means it's to press against a shaft to stop it turning and has already been said a locknut to stop it coming undone.

Is the end flat or does it have a socket for an Allen key?

Hey! It’s a flat end, opposite of the sharp end of the screw

I believe that's a knob pin.
