Can I try this method without the funnel or is that a must?

Beginners often ask this very question. The funnel is a must if you want to add a splash of colour into the photo 😅

Just realised it is Thursday! Here’s Wednesdays whoops!

But before you start, I DID read the instruction manual. It said to put the portafilter underneath the grinder chute 🤔

Omg!!! I had a whoopsie yesterday!!! & it was Wednesday!!!!!!!

speech;
I had no idea at the time that this misjudged pour would enable me to post on the Whoops on a Wednesday thread!!! Goes to show everything happens for a reason, and you should never give up on your dreams!! Yesterday i felt mildly annoyed by this.... well look at me now. I want to thank my brain, and my wife's choice of kitchen towel and of course coffee

Shows great promise. If I were to make any suggestions, I’d say a bigger cup may have helped create a broader spectrum of pattern and style.

9/10 for effort and presentation.
