Hello from Cheshire UK

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm discovering new aspects of coffee that I never knew existed, and my goal is to get delicious coffee at home for a reasonable price. I'm brewing better coffee than ever in a Aeropress, buying fresh beans from local roasters, grinding them myself immediately before brewing. I have dipped a toe into the water of roasting, started with a skillet and a firepit, then a popcorn maker, after that a small drum roaster from eBay that you have to provide a heat source for yourself. I got a nice selection of green coffee to experiment with. I'm now thinking of getting a better home roaster that can give consistent results, an even roast and ultimately nice coffee.

I'm not into espresso at home, I can save that for professional baristas to make for me. Maybe in a few years I'll change my mind but that sounds like a completely separate hobby.

My Instagram tells the story of my coffee experience coffee_maymo
