even though ive been making espresso for years ive never really used a naked pf. but ive started and its an interesting learning process to work out what is going wrong... today it looked like this:

You have drips coming from side of portafilter, it means either you need to clean gasket/leaving grounds on basket rim or your gasket is giving up.

coffee, no idea on that anymore i bounce around to different coffees all the time likely to be something from Dark Arts though. Using a specialita.

gasket was changed not that long ago, i dont get any drips with my official silvia portafilter. so i just ignore these ones...

i didnt, but not i use a dosing cup to shake everything up well.
