Gaggia Classic and grinder (Mignon?)

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Looking for:

Gaggia Classic - pre-2015, preferably with the upgraded wand and OPV mod done (mod not a deal breaker). I'm starting from nothing so any extras like tamper, baskets etc are useful.

Grinder - something to go with the Classic that will be reliable for a good few years, so likely a Eureka Mignon or similarly priced option, nothing too fancy.

Budget is around £350 for both, can be stretched a little higher if necessary. Willing to consider combos or separate, and will likely require shipping unless from London.

Cheers.

Bump. Still looking for options on both.

Budget is now £200 for the classic, £200-250 for a Eureka/Mazzer grinder or similar.

Would you be interested in a Lelit Fred for £120? I have one at home collecting dust since my last machine/ grinder upgrade.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm holding out for one of the above mentioned :) Seems like the price on yours has come down a bit? https://www.thecoffeemate.co.uk/p/professional-grinder-lelit-fred/

I will have 2  Classics ready in about 2 weeks. Both fully refurbished.

I keep prices as low as possible.

Both will be around the £200 mark, hopefully slightly under depending on my costs.

You can check my refurbs on a 2001 rebuild , and the  latest 2013 rebuild thread, on this forum.

More info to come over the weekend.

I've followed some of your refurb threads quite closely, it looks like you do a fantastic job with them! I'll wait and see what you have.
