A Vibiemme was the first proper E-61 machine I owned.  I could be wrong but I'm not convinced that's an HX model, I suspect it's a single boiler non HX. i.e. you have to wait for the boiler to get hotter for steam. It's also an older one as evidenced by the round buttons. That said, if it's in good nick it's still a steal at the current price. Be quick!

Rocket Giotto Evoluzione v2, Eureka Zenith 65E, Niche grinder, Pharos grinder with VoodooDaddy mods, Eureka MDL, Torr Goldfinger, Smart Tamp. Various coffee stuff.

Did you get it? I watched it go though finished at £303 I was thinking about a cheeky bid... although would have liked to collect it to check quality etc.

I didnt bother in the end, like you i would want to check it over before paying. And the fact it had very little info on the listing didnt have time to ask any questions.

One of the smartest decisions you can make is to check over a coffee machine before parting with your money. Until you see it in the flesh, you will never really know in which state it really is. Unless it’s an extremely good bargain, of course (personally, I don’t think the one on eBay was, not for the price it went).
