Mahlkonig Tanzania grinder

Recommended Posts

Hi, Has anyone got experience of the Mahlkonig Tanzania grinder. See one selling, but it needs "Missing tray and small crack to hopper base". They state easy to replace / repair, but I'm having a quick online to see and cannot readily see anything.

Are these good commercial grinders (noting I only have a 1kg roaster at present) and are spares easily available?

Thanks

Phil.

The Tanzania is a good grinder, the burrs are very well made and they are excellent at brewed coffee. Spares are available for them and it would work as a low volume bag grinder

I've got one and it's a fantastic grinder. Spares are very easy to source, the burrs are held in place with magnets so you get a complete grind path without and screw holes. Its grind is very accurate and even and at the price it's going for it's a great buy, especially when you consider the burrs cost £250 a set.

I'd definitely pick it up rather than post though, mine took a battering in the post
