Well they used to be just rainbows, now if you were to paint one on your house people might assume that you are a friend of Dorothy so to to speak.

Nope......still not getting it?

Ah....I'm off to play some doom

Wow, ok here goes. Once upon a time a rainbow was just that, it was a rainbow, a rather delightful trick of the light caused by its refraction through water. One day the gay community saw this and thought that it would make a nice flag to represent their community , this caught on and before long the rainbow became a university recognised symbol of all things properly gay, except by you it would  appear.

Ah OK, must admit I don't tend to take much notice of such things. I remember it back in the day as a kids program I was too old to watch. Perhaps there was a subliminal hidden message even then. Or was it just a Rainbow?

I had no idea that the meaning of rainbow had been bent in anyway at all. The word gay was bent ages and ages ago.

I've carefully avoided the use of any homophobic terms or have I ?

Just seen Mark Francois announce that hopefully, tomorrow he is launching a crowdfunding page to cover the cost for those who want to celebrate and don't mind chucking a few pence into the ring. He said rather gleefully, that the £500,000 figure was perhaps a bit on the high side as the calculations had been done by those who did not want to celebrate anyway.

I suspect the required level will be reached rather quickly!

Oh the irony :-)

Well now that there is a resolution on the horizon for your campanological desires, might we think about drawing a close to this thread?
