Titus EK43 Burr holder / Pre-breaker

After having to part ways with the EK43 this is now surplus to requirements. Will provide original purchase invoice.

 

Purchased October 2019. Engineered to within an inch of its life (well fraction of a mm [emoji1787]

It's nothing to do with me, but whilst I might turn my nose up at a second-hand piece of consumer electronics at about £20 off; I think I'd look at something with no moving parts or electronics and in mint condition slightly differently. It's your money, of course, dan1502.

It's sold now (which I'm happy for him about) but at the current exchange rate it was so close to new there wasn't enough incentive for me to buy used.  On the other hand his EK was virtually new and offered at a more than generous discount.  I'm in no rush for one anyway so will just pick up a new one in due course if I decide I definitely want one.

Ooooo, shiny shiny..

If I'm right in thinking, the augers on these are different depending on whether it's for espresso grinding or filter. Something to do with the feed rate? Just from memory anyway. Nice one Patrick, That EK of yours is going to be even more kinda special :classic_biggrin:

As I understood it is for MK espresso burrs, because of the slower feed rate and a better particle distribution.
