My bake this morning was a bit of a flop. Think it needed more folds as when I pulled it out of the fridge it just spread like the blob.

And to top it off it stuck to the towel 😕

I think we all have those days dude... what did your schedule look like? Could be possible it was over-proved. How was the crumb?

Very similar to your schedule.

I don't think so, it passed the poke test well.

To be honest I had doubts about it last night, but I guess I was too tired and figured it would be ok 🤣

If it's edible it's a win.

It was still quite enjoyable, just a little dense. But half the loaf got eaten at breakfast between 3 of us. So not a complete disaster

yup.

You should give japanese dinner rolls a recipe with tangzhong or whatever it’s called. I gave it a go once and the crumb was mega soft.

Were there any big fermentation bubbles on the top of the loaf? Or were they all near the bottom?

Quite a few big bubbles at the top.

Was in a steel bowl so I couldn't see the bottom

Made some fantastic, albeit mishapen, pancakes with leftover starter today!

Most of the bubbles were at the top. What does that mean?
