VB Kaffee - Consolidated UK shipment round 3

Recommended Posts

Hey up!

It's been a while... and a few have since asked if there's going to be a next round! Oh yes, me thinks!

First off, with new coffees in the pipeline it is time to clear the storage. Therefore, our current round shall be centered around the last of our Sigri AA batches.

Details:

1198318996.jpg

Country: Papua New Guinea

Region: Waghi Valley, Western Highlands

Cooperative: Carpenters Estates

Farm: Plantation Sigri

Variety: Arabica Typica and Arusha

Grade: AA

Altitude: 1,450 masl

Process method: washed

Taste notes light roast: wild berries, tropical fruit, soft acidity, when it cools offering a herbal touch and sweet cherry tomatoes

Founded only in 1950, Plantation Sigri was one of the first commercial coffee growers of Papua New Guinea. The farm has ever been growing the finest beans in the country for many reasons: one being the perfect climate in Waghi Valley, others being careful and selective hand picking, same-day pulping, immediate sun-drying after washing and conscious sample roasting and cupping on the estate by experts.

So, here's the drill:

- 1 kilo (2x 500g) per slot

- reduced price 26€ now 24€ per kilo (£20.51 today)

- 18 slots available

- Shipping for €4.60 (£3.93 today) - RM signed for 2nd class

How it's done after group buy closes:

- once list is complete, your orders will go through our online shop (PayPal in EUR, fees on you)

- we'll roast and pack as quickly as possible (keeping you posted as we go)

- we'll send one big box containing all smaller boxes to trustworthy member  @Nicknak  who kindly agreed AGAIN to unpack and post out individual parcels, immediately

- within about a week from roasting date you should have the order at your doorstep

- we pay for the big shipment via DPD as well as packaging. Only domestic RM postage is on you

Some more info:

- at 1 kilo batches we're a true mirco roastery smile.png.386586528d215eb32622a010fd075179.png

- our definition of a light roast is straight at end of first crack

- despite the online shop being all English, actual product labels will be in German (for an exotic experience biggrin.png.c6b268a4fd898770b304c93bef9a49ee.png )

- please do not place any orders until group buy list is complete (18 slots taken)

- maybe the last chance to get hold of these beans from us, as this position will very likely be filled with some other niceness anytime soon...

Whoever wishes to take part, please create a list below, stating your name and order, like: 1. Hasi and quote the last post above containing an order. If (for some crazy reason) anyone decides to go for 2 slots, please state accordingly and visibly (like: 3.&4. Hasi).

In case I've forgot anything, just let me know :classic_cool:

Looking very much forward to this!!

Cheers,

Matt
