Recommended Posts

Hi,

What is the best grinding setting for espresso dark roast beans for Delonghi ECAM 23.120.B? Your experiences?

I'd leave the machine to factory settings and try cranking the 'beans' dial up to the maximum for the amount of coffee you grind first.

The maximum will grind 14g of coffee so that should be pretty good for a strong espresso.

If you play with the setting for the grinder, remember to adjust while the machine is grinding!

Good luck!

Thanks, yea I might should do that, I was just curious if it could be grinder fine tuned to fit the specific roast.

Can you by any chance remember the factory setting for the grinder? :)

Hello, sorry, I don't have the factory setting for the grinder. But if you are going to play with it to fine tune your grind, try it one notch at a time and remember you will need to produce 2 coffees before the new grinder setting properly kicks in. It should all be explained in the manual 🙂
