Hi all - I’m using a delonghi KG79 to grind but the ground size adjustment has stopped working (see attached photo of what it’s putting out).

Does anyone have any experience of this machine and the problem? (The manual says great issue can be resolved by refitting the burr top which I’ve done but makes no difference).

Thanks!

The picture doesn't tell us much. Are you getting the size selector clicks as you screw the burr in & out?

How are you sure that the grind size isn't changing?

Thanks for the reply. Yes it clicks. I did a batch on both most coarse and most fine and the ground size is identical. Would you say the grind size in the photo is roughly as coarse as a typical machine would go?

I can't tell anything from the photo.

There is only a photo of one grind size anyway.

Are you saying there is no difference in your brews? (How are you brewing)

Do you have a sieve that will catch some of the grind, sieve at coarsest & finest & tell us the result.
