If I can make a suggestion, Glenn, do you think it might be good to give these badges a shelf-life? For my own part I'd like mine to run out after maybe 4-6 months, which would prompt me to make another donation if/when I'm still actively visiting the forum.

Its only worth a little thankyou :D it was the 20% i got off Unionroasters by using Earlepap's discount code.So i get to try a different roasters ( Atkinsons in Lancaster is my local) and you get the 20% as it would have been full price without this excellent forum and its members.

I don't know if it has been mentioned before, maybe a badge for major contributors that have passed particular milestones such as >1000 posts or thanked more than 100 times.

We've set the criteria to be quite achievable.

Either a £10 donation in one go - or a top up to £10 in any calendar year if already a supporter in a year.
