Formic acid de scaling ?

I people , Anyone have advice on this , Do you use it neat or watered down , if so what ratio is used , Need to give my ECM 

a good clean out , Tried citric acid and very little changed

Ive used it a few times. If you’re doing it during a complete strip down you can go neat, but be quick and protect anything you don’t want it in.

Last time I used it I did a sage DTP. I think it was around a 2 parts formic to 10 parts water. Just go easy to begin with and make sure you give it a good flush through after.

The O rings in Sage machines might not be happy with it. Seems the engineers use puly's stuff.

Those guys don’t know what they are doing

It honestly worked perfectly after and I’ll know how well as it’s being used at a friends house. Definitely worked better than it did though. Fully choked with scale.

LOL They have to deal with scale often enough. Finding what any O ring is resistant to isn't easy. More obscure substance the harder it is.

I’m sure they do. Dare say their health and safety department won’t allow acids in the van too, hence the puly
