What time do you stop drinking?

Recommended Posts

6pm generally. Maybe an espresso after dinner on occasion.

You can make a forum poll out of this, surely interesting to visualise in a diagram

For me it can be anytime: after dinner espresso, cuppings at 1AM...

It's five o'clock somewhere!

Through trial and error and lack of sleep I've found my latest cut off time is about 2:00pm for drinking caffeinated coffee. I've found that as I've got older my tolerance for drinking caffeinated drinks has diminished and my ability to go off to sleep is definitely affected by my caffeine intake. I try to get all my caffeine hit in as early as possible.

It just depends on when I start my day. If I go for a run before work, then I’ll have espresso before run and espresso/flat white afterwards. Then a cup or two of filter at work. Feel tired, sluggish, need a kick or just fancy a cup? I go for it, regardless it’s 9am or 4pm. I don’t typically turn on espresso machine when I get back from work.

I’m still waiting for someone to say “I never stop, I just transition to whisky throughout the day”!

As I said earlier, it's five o'clock somewhere...

It is rumoured that there maybe someone in this world who has witnessed me turning down a cup of coffee when offered......
personally I don't believe that!

So on that basis - it depends when I am last offered!
