Not for espresso

Though that might depend on the machine the OP is planning on pairing it with?

If it's a £150 DeLonghi espresso machine (or worse), with a pressurised PF, then perhaps?

OK for manual paper filtered drip, Frech press & Clever Dripper...probably Aeropress too (though not tried this combo).

Aeropress can be very forgiving of grind depending on the recipe/method used.

Is there a Grinder guide on here?

How do you mean? If you're spending £30-£60 new, you're only going to be using that grinder for brewed coffee not espresso.

For a new electric espresso grinder you're looking at £150+, or keep an eye out in the for sale forum.

£130 upwards and you get an espresso capable hand grinder, probably not a great idea when starting out as dialling in can be a real chore.

So, we really need to know how you are brewing your coffee to give reasonable suggestions.

What are you planning on using it for?

My girlfriend's dad has one and to be fair for brewed it's fine for a starter grinder.  So it'll do the job for cafetiere, Aeropress, clever dripper etc. Haven't tried pourover, obviously won't be perfect but can't imagine it'd be terrible :)

I can't say I've tried it for espresso because... Well, it definitely wouldn't be good! Can't imagine it'll go fine enough.

I’ve tried this for espresso when I first started out...it just doesn’t grind consistently fine enough.
