Hello from Phoenix

Recommended Posts

Hello all, found this forum looking for info on MrShades PID.  Picked up a Cunill Kenia-Tron and was looking for a cheap espresso machine to get me going.  I want to get a Vibiemme Super HX but until then I found a used Gaggia New Baby 06 for $40.  Other than needing a new group head gasket and some cleaning its in great shape.  But dialing in a new grinder and machine is a bit of a struggle.  The ex took the Breville we had and that's the limit of my experience with espresso machines.  Am thinking to get MrShades PID to help with the learning curve and who knows maybe I will not want the Vibiemme.....just wanted to introduce myself....

Welcome!

It was my brother-in-law in the States who got me into this coffee malarky. He sat me down with the toys below, and from that moment I wanted me some of that! (Although, I can't quite stretch to any of it yet, nor the dedicated coffee station he had in his house!) 🤨

However, it was fun roasting my own, and has started me on this endless journey!
