Amazon Prime day is about a week away. If you're lucky it may put something decent in your budget (never seen matresses on Prime day but never looked either). Memory foam matresses can come in different firmnesses especially if they have a sprung base.

FWIW I’ve bought a Casper mattress on Prime Day before.

IKEA maybe?

I've bought many, many mattresses from the Swedes in my life. Never been unhappy. They offer a wide range of soft-to-hard components at very reasonable prices.

I've been using one for over 2 years now. Feels like it has a lot more to go as well. It's softened a little but not much. ;) My wife's side usually lasts longer so at some point I usually do a 180 degree rotate. Don't think they actually mention what's in them. I prefer a firm bed that also supports fairly evenly. It does.

Once you've slept in a proper woven Mayan hammock, it's difficult to go back to any mattress.

It's like sleeping in a cloud; every part of your body is equally supported; throw in a duvet and you gently swing to sleep, or whatever - the big ones sleep eight.

Also, beds take up a lot of space. A hammock, you just unhook one end in the morning and you've got the whole room back.
