Mazzer Mini sawdust grind

Recommended Posts

I have been very happy with my Mazzer Mini A for the last four years. Recently however, the ground coffee has been coming out like saw dust. Far too coarse. I have taken it apart and cleaned thoroughly. I have screwed the top back until the burrs are touching and dialled back a quarter turn. This makes no difference. I have also replaced the burrs with new ones and still the same result. The only only other factor to mention is that recently I have been getting a different selection of beans. Could the type of bean or the roasting technique be the cause?

Type fo bean = no, wouldn't be the reasons for this.

You can not be at touching point if it's grinding that course with new burrs.

Something somewhere has gone awry.

Are the burrs in correctly, seated correctly , are you turning the adjustment the right way to fine ?

I write a blog, it's nothing to do with coffee ...

Did you remove the lower burr carrier to clean the machine ??  If so how did you remove it ? If you removed it , did you replace it in the correct position (only one )
