Vesuvius with VST 18g Ridgeless

Recommended Posts

Well after constant soggy pucks with a standard ridged I decided to try a VST 18 Ridgeless.

Although my coffee has been really tasty I just wanted to get past the soggy puck - tried all the permutations but no joy!

1st shot with the VST @18g and my puck is sticking to the screen...but dry now (and still tasty) - IMS by the way lol

I think I might go down the same route as @kennyboy993 and get an original screen!

Hi @Mrboots2u everything is great just the slight annoyance of puck.

Quite surprised the difference going from a standard basket and soggy pucks to a VST 18 and puck stuck to screen.

Only had a couple of goes as busy but run slightly courser and didn’t stick.

Coffee has been good throughout though so all good 👍

With a standard screen it was soggy, moved over to VST 18 and did stick but might have it sussed 👍

Hi @igm45 screen is an IMS 200, maybe less forgiving than the standard.

I have only had a couple of goes with a lever profile I like but run 1 courser on niche and appears to be all good. On Rave Fudge at the moment 😊
