EK43 Flavour Struggles

Recommended Posts

I feel like i'm not getting the same level of flavours that i used to out of my old grinder. I may be because the shot it smoother but it just seems to lack something. They don't taste bad don't get my wrong but seem to lack that flavour punch.

Currently dosing 18g in 45g ish in around 30s. Turned the mini back up to 7.5bar but no obvious difference from 6bar.

Anyone got any hints and tips?

Yeah i feel i just need a 1KG of beans and to just play about to find where the sweet spot lies. I've heard that sometimes using filter roasts can also help and some blends and espresso roasts don't taste amazing due to the consistency of he grind!
