Sage Barista Express, solenoid needs replacing

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Now that I have upgraded to my Lelit Mara I have my old Sage Barista Express to get rid, approx 2 years old. The solenoid needs replacing as this has gone, but it is a well known repair and the item costs around £30-40 from eBay. I haven't done it as I was looking to upgrade anyway, but anyone have any idea what price I could get, maybe for parts?

Everything else is in working order and it has been regularly descaled and cleaned. It would come with all parts and boxed.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I bought one like this from a forum member for £80. I'd say max around £130 as its not certain it is the solanoid. Additionally Sage don't sell these directly, but very similar can be sourced. Not an exact science to value, others can chime in.
