Presuming that this is from Assembly!

Who knows . It was hard enough to get them not to put the origin on the bags so I guess this is what we get. Unlabeled coffee woohooo!

They have got a roast date on them at least! (And 2x250g bags suits me better than 1x500g)

Picked mine up from the post office this morning. 2 x unmarked stealth bags inside a cardboard box with no holes or damage whatsoever :-)

I came on here to find out who the roaster was!

Smells great, won't be diving in for a week but I'm sure it'll be good, cheers chaps.

Mine arrived also yesterday in a very non descript box that had to be opened by Sarah's work to see where it needed to go ( me obviously :)) theyre used to coffee turning up every month or so but their comment was similar to above, plain box / plain packaging

Thanks both for organising and Assembly (?, kidding :) ) for roasting

I received a red royal mail "something for you" card. Was a real pain to grind and ran really fast in the v60. In the brew I got notes of paper and bitter sadness.

Seriously though, just need to get down to the post office to collect them. Thanks to all for arranging them!

Probably better to get a red card than the package being left with my neighbour - he always seems to leave my packages sitting in his radiator so get handed a toasty package of beans when I rescue them from him!

Much nicer brew this morning. Still not huge body but very tasty. Maybe more still to come as it rests?

I've asked Assembly for their espresso numbers for this coffee.

I thought the aroma has developed a lot in the last day or two. It was gorgeous this morning, the beans smelled like sweet - maybe caramelised - nuts to me.

It's a pleasure to have another coffee from Lake Kivu - DRC!

Info on brewing from their head barista.

The [Censored] on filter will taste great from around the 3 day mark and really start opening up once you hit 7 days rested.

The [Censored] on Espresso takes a little longer to open up, I would normally rest this coffee for around 2 weeks and it will become more stable.

For espresso I would run this espresso out a little longer and go for a recipe of:

16g - Does

40g - Yield

34 Second - Contact Time
