I know there is a lot of talk around latte art, jugs, aerating techniques, etc.. I have paid more attention to some of those elements than others and I’m starting to wonder if I’m missing something important.

I can produce milk froth good enough for pouring art, and can normally produce something that resembles latte art. My issue is I am quite a lot better at Rosetta’s than tulips, which is annoying because I love the look of a good tulip!

I suddenly realised this morning, could it be the jug?! Yes I know, a poor workman blames his tools..

I am currently using the sage jug that has quite a sharp spout, would this hinder tulips? Would a more rounded, larger spouted jug be better?

Thanks in advance!

I find the sage jug quite good for producing good latte art.

This was using a sage jug. f905b7cabded6edf41522b91d5cff216.jpg

Damn it would be awesome to see some footage of the jug producing something as good as that, just so I can see if I am missing anything!

I did think about entering but it came down to time. Don't always have the free time available to pour. Maybe next year.

These are amazing. How come you didn’t enter the latte art comp?

Never mind next year! We’ve got another LAC coming up in December! It will be run in a totally different way - it’s going to give more members more chance to enter ;)
