Anyone Know About the Everpure Conserv 75 RO System

Recommended Posts

[First, sorry if I’ve posted in the wrong forum. Seems a Water forum might be worth creating.]

My water is spectacularly hard 37 degrees German. 17 of this is temporary hardness. I use a Bestmax Premium cartridge and can drive it down to 7 Temporary degrees with no pass through but the water is still hard as nails and frankly tastes almost salty post filtration.

So I’ve been looking for another way and I found this: https://www.aquacure.co.uk/markets/coffee-espresso/reverse-osmosis/conserv-75e

It’s pricey but I’m burning through XXL Bestmax filters anyway.

My filtration setup is in the cellar. The tap is on the kitchen sink two floors above and it gets used for all cooking and drinking too.

Does anyone know this Everpure system? I’m trying to get a feel for whether it would work in my house and how many cylinders I would need to have water on demand (it filters 9ltrs an hour I think).

I’m also open to any other suggestions, it’s just the plug and play solution looks very attractive because the Swiss won’t be able to stuff the installation.

Espresso: Ceado E92 (modified for single dose); Vesuvius; VST baskets and refractometer.

Other: Aeropress, Sowden and Alessi Moka Pot; Mazzer Robur doser with Auber timer; Mazzer Mini E; Expobar Leva Dual Boiler

Just get yourself an ordinary (not expensive "coffee") 5 stage pumped RO system, then add bicarb back into the water.
