The strange filter for a Sage Duo Temp - Help needed please

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon guy's.

So I upgraded from a dedica to a Sage Duo Temp. I've just run a descaler through it but screwed up and forgot to remove the filter :/ so I'm in desperate need of one of those odd filters and annoyingly sage are out of stock!

Any help pointing me in the right direction to buy a filter or is there a workaround at all?

Thanks in advance,

Gindy.

You should be fine running without for a bit if you use Essential Waitrose Lockhills water.

Those ones on Ebay won't work. The newer SDT models have an upgraded Claria filter which is completely different (and far more expensive). From what I researched a couple of months ago there are no other compatible ones so Sage have the monopoly on those. On the plus side they do last 3 months.

Can't see why you can't use the machine without one for a while.

They are in stock now. I need to order some myself for my DTP.

Just use Volvic if you can't get Waitrose. I think Tesco's own might be decent as well but that's up to you to research.
