Site Outage - 11/12 November 2011

Recommended Posts

We were notified of a server error by our host at 1900 on 11 Noveber 2011, and as a result of the failure the server was taken down for diagnostics to be run, in the hope that a fix could be applied.

It turned out the server issue was fatal and as a result some data was lost during the restore to a backup made earlier in the day.

Some posts made on 11 November may no longer show.

Our host apologises for the inconvenience.

We are in discussions with our host to move to a dedicated server which will introduce benefits such as quicker page loading and more control (including frequency of backups)

Thankfully, issues such as last nights failure are few and far between.

Thank you to everyone for the messages of support during the past 24 hours

Kind regards

You're probably already aware, Glenn, but tapatalk seems affected by the current status of this issue. It doesn't seem able to find all posts. (Or maybe its just a glitch with my connection)

Just for info.
