Sorry, I know this has been done a few times. I've decided to get my mum a B2C for Christmas and I want to make sure I make the right choice. She uses fresh beans. I wouldn't say money was no object, but I'm looking for something decent (but simple) that I could also enjoy when I'm round there. I know Melitta is a name that often comes up, are these the best option? Which are the best models to go for? Anything else to consider? Also, where to buy? Thanks.
The Melitta caffeo varianza seems to be the most recommended on here. Sadly they were just on offer at currys but are now back to full price. You can find them on eBay (new) for under £500 occasionally so I'd get hunting!
My work just got this Jura, https://goo.gl/images/ I was initially quite excited to be getting nice coffee at work.
I'm not to sure if this is a good one or not but I certainly could never buy one after trying this. I find It very disappointing. Perhaps if I didn't have a nice machine at home I'd be less aware of the difference.
