Ok folks time for the Christmas raffle and it is rather special as up for grabs is a kafatek flat grinder! This one was purchased for the Forum event at the end of the month and after that event needs to find a new home, so in agreement with Glenn it is going to the forum in a raffle.
Make no bones about it this is one of the very best grinders that you can buy let alone have the chance to win for £20! It will be used by Forum folk on the 26th as part of the grinder day then will be boxed back up ready to be sent to the winner.
Usual Forum raffle rules apply, add your name to a cut and paste of the list, payment will be expected the first week of December and delivery will be in time for Christmas, or before if we get the numbers sooner.
Draw protocols will be disclosed by Glenn nearer the time as will the payment details. 100 entries at £20 per entry, with a Forum donation included.
You will not get another chance to get one of these for £20 so come on folks give it a go, we promise to look after it at the event and keep it in pristine condition. Winner will be responsible for the delivery costs.
All forum members with over 20 posts (at time of posting this thread) are eligible to enter this will only be reviewed if we are struggling to get the number required to complete the draw
Good luck everyone
**Draw Process** - added by Glenn
We anticipate the draw will take place no earlier than 04 December 2017
This is to give people enough time to pay once the required number of entries (100) has been hit.
Payment will need to be made within 3 days of closing the raffle (eg from 01 December)
Payment to be made via Bank Transfer with your Forum Name as reference
Payment cannot be accepted via Paypal due to their terms and conditions
The draw will take place, with a supervisor (I can share my screen) to adjudicate the process
The winner will be the person whose name is in the row on the spreadsheet occupied by the first Lotto ball on the preceding draw (either Wednesday or Saturday draw) after the second randomisation
We use random.org to randomise the list of names
This list is then randomised again
We do this to ensure there is no bias on the first or last people to enter.
You are entering the raffle on the basis that you understand the rules and the draw process
If you do not, or you do not agree with the draw process, simply do not enter
