Funnily enough i don't think MildredM voted in our "what roasters do you want to see?" poll... but plenty of other CFUK-ers did vote for Foundry :-)

I missed the poll somehow but more than pleased with the results.

@DogandHat I received your brilliant box of goodies this morning, it all looks lovely as usual. Just a quick bit of feedback, reading through your recipes could you include time in future, eg: Colonna Rwanda - Grind 1.7, 17g in 35g out in 30 seconds. That way those of that don't have an EK will know when we reach a similar recipe.

Just a quick bit of feedback, reading through your recipes could you include time in future, eg:

Colonna Rwanda - Grind 1.7, 17g in 35g out in 30 seconds.

That way those of that don't have an EK will know when we reach a similar recipe.

Very good point - we forgot to include them on the espresso recipes. We'll update the blog on the website shortly and make sure we remember for the booklet next month.

For completeness sake - Espresso Recipes:-

Colonna Rwanda Twongerekawa Coko - 17 to 35 in 26secs - EK1.6

Craft House Brazil Sitio Forte - 18 to 39 in 29secs - EK2.0

Red Bank Colombia 121 - 18 to 36 in 26secs - EK1.6

The Steamie Burundi Mpanga - 18 to 45 in 26secs - EK1.7

Please don't forget, these are just our settings for this month on our setup... don't feel you have to attempt to replicate them. We are hoping for though is that as we go through the coming months they'll help provide a starting point for dialling in the coffee. So next time we include a coffee that we found worked well at "18 to 36 in 26secs at EK grind size 1.6", then you could start your dialling in at settings that worked well for you with the Red Bank Colombia this month... so make sure you're keeping good notes :-)

From the website

When will I receive my coffee?

The cut-off date for orders each month is the 20th. We aim to ship as soon after this date as we can once all the coffee has been freshly roasted and delivered to us - typically this is the first Wednesday after the cut-off date.

Once we have shipped the subscriptions, you will receive an email confirming dispatch.
