La Pavoni - Europiccola - Pre Millennium 1987~

Recommended Posts

Anybody interested in getting this off my hands.

Bought on the Forum but hardly used maybe a couple of times.

The machine is in pretty good condition and well looked after.

Looking for around the same price I bought it on here £225.

Added temperature strips and I'll throw in a Motta Tamper (49mm).

Based around South Birmingham, so ideally collection in person but can compromise.

Have you got a link to the original sale thread for this machine?

Are you willing to send it courier?

Yes, I can do.

Where about in the country are you?

Are you happy if I stick an additional delivery amount onto the price?

I guesstimated you might be from Ipswich to get the quote from UPS £10

Heard this is the best courier to use for machines.

looks vgood for year - just swop the piston from brass to the plastic one and bingo overheating problems over - well for the first 2 drinks anyway

all opinions are my own I have not received any free equipment or favours from suppliers

Are you using an iPhone? It's a known apple quirk.

Not an expert an but the pre-1990 La Pavoni's don't have an outer tube just the glass tube protected by the metal sleeve. My guess is that your looking at images of post 1990 Europiccolas. Not my words but read it on:

The early ones have the glass sight glass inside a metal sleeve which this one has got and I think is the best one. The later ones have just the sight glass inside a large plastic shroud shall we call it? The earlier shrouds were screw on and the later ones which are the ones for sale now have a push fit shroud/sight glass cover.

If you look in the link to the valuation post you can just make out in the bottom pic the metal sleeve.

I do my posts on a PC and it rotates them as well!

Yeah took the photos on the iPhone used the PC to upload what looked like rotated images.

Hopefully they will fix it with iOS11 :p

It's more about the device which took the photo than what you are using to post it. :-)

Samsung phone... So Android and Apple are a problem it would seem?

Best ask @IggyK It doesn't look like it? It was my machine and is in excellent condition... All ready to go with new seals/gaskets no rust... You could pay less for one off of eBay but it could end up costing you as much or more for parts or replacing the rusty base etc.
