Eureka Mignon - grey or matt black??

Recommended Posts

I'm very shortly going to order a new mignon from Bella Barista but can't decide between the grey or matt black - any thoughts from existing owners??

I like it in both, but I think the matt black does look nice in the flesh. With the sage, the grey may not go as well with the silver, but the black may complement it?

Black. The grey looks like it needs Velcro on it and a nice rubber sole

Did someone say coffee?

Id have said the black as well.

Must admit to going through a similar dilemma, mine was between the gloss black or chrome.

Went with gloss black and have no doubt I made the right choice.

That's a reflection of the top burr.

[edit: oops, just seen you're intending Matt black. Apologies.]

gloss black all day long, but thats just my opinion, i just think the whole matt thing is a fad.

but for me a huge deciding factor was what it went with in the rest of our kitchen, and our mielle cooker is also black and chrome

Got my shiny new little gloss black mignon. Going to have some fun experimenting with the numerous bags of beans i seem to have accumulated!

Do you think you made the right decision vis a vis the colour choice now you've got it and its in situ ?

Yep I do think the matt black would have looked a bit dull next to the shiny DTP.
