Greetings fellow coffee lovers

Recommended Posts

Firstly apologies for not posting a hello on here sooner. Only noticed the introductions section. I have posted in some other sections already so once again sorry, didn't mean to be rude.

I am from Northern Ireland, which has now got some decent roasters. Looking forward to exchanging tips and ideas with likeminded people.

To reiterate what some others have said it is very refreshing to find a UK coffee forum.

Welcome Mark :) NI has definitely got some good roasters - a friend sent me a bag from Bailies that I thoroughly enjoyed (and thank you for reminding me; now I'll have to secure some more at some point ;) )- and baristas.

Mahlkonig Vario, Dualit grinder, V60 (paper & cloth filters), 1-3 cup Chemex, Porlex Grinder, Kantans, Kalita Wave, Bodum French press, Various Ibriks, Turkish Coffee Hand Grinder, Bialetti Mini Express, Moka Pot, AeroPress, TCA-5 syphon and lots of tasty coffee :drink:

Thanks Mark and Welcome to Coffee Forums UK

There is a growing scene in NI and some nice little cafes out of the main towns

I visited in 2009 and can't wait to get back to visit some of the new places that have recently opened.
