Reading (place) cafe tips

Recommended Posts

Hi sorry if this has been covered before but i am wondering if anyone can recommend a top coffee place in Reading. The forum search function does not yield any great results due to the number of posts with the word reading in them! Thanks

Tamp Culture coffee cart make the best coffee in Reading. C.U.P. are pretty good, too, and great for tea. Workhouse *can* make great coffee but the last time I was there I got served a cold expresso. I don't know which of those two problems bothered me the most.

I second tamp culture is the best only drawback being it's outside. Workhouse has nice folks working there, I've been in there a lot while on jury service but the coffee isn't amazing better than most though.

Everything my heart could desire (more or less). . .

Tamp always have two single origin beans on, their own, regularly changing. C.U.P. use Roasting Party beans, a blend for espresso. Workhouse roast their own and have a huge range, so lots of choice depending on your taste.
