La pavoni for spares (easy fix?)

Wouldn't an adapter like this sort it? http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/maplin-230v-to-110v-100w-voltage-converter-rs59p

 

I'm wondering what sort of adapter rosemary was using. Could an inappropriate adapter be what was causing the fuse to trip? I know nothing about electronics.

 

She sells some amount of crud on her eBay account that's for sure.

Or you could spend £25 and buy a 230v element for it

I saw that the other day. I'd be wanting to see a pic without the drip-tray in situ (..probably been eaten by tin-worm).
