Gaggia Baby Class D broken - can you help identify fault from video??

Recommended Posts

I've had my Gaggia Baby Class D for a couple of years and it's developed a fault which I'm hoping someone might be able to identify from the video below.

I've checked the solenoid and it was partially blocked with limescale, so I cleared that thinking it would fix it, but no joy.

It heats up but I can't get any water to pump through it, nothing comes out the steam wand or shower head. Possible broken pump??

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!

I would be guessing the pump, since it didn't make any noise. Either that or the circuit board. Give me a solid physical switch any day!

The Ulkla pumps are easy to disassemble, and the are a few guides if you do a google search, But with nothing kicking in, it may be an electrical issue, not physical.
