The most votes received were to keep new rule - Only 'Buy it Now / Known Price' is truly a deal - therefore auction links are not permitted to be posted in the Deals subforum

You have got to be kidding!!!!

Seriously!?!?!?!

That just makes the whole poll a farce.

If you wanted to make that decision - you should've just made it. But by having the poll and the votes as cast that decision is laughable!

Sorry but just my opinion!

Glenn was asked to make a decision on this in a private message by me. He considered this for 10 days then made a ruling. After an outcry, a poll was suggested. The 4 categories to vote in were published. At no point in the proceedings did anyone suggest that the outcome of the poll should be option 1 versus the total of options 2,3 & 4.

Each option had its own outcome. For goodness sake, the poll has happened, the results are known, now get on with it and accept Glenn and the majority of those who voted, decision.

Glenn is perfectly entitled to make any decision he wants.

His decision was apparently to put it to the vote.

30/75 is not a majority.

If he wanted to make a decision without the poll I am sure most if not all would have accepted it.

We are all entitled to our opinion - my opinion stands. :-)

Agree the poll was not entirely fair in its categorisation, however eBay items can still be listed, just not in the deals section so it hardly matters

eBay items can still be listed on the forum, just not in the Deals section

This concludes the matter
