Up to now it looks like about 9 people, that includes coffeechap, have stated interest.

If a lighter roast group appeals to you please say so now on this thread.

No commitment yet just looking at possible numbers.

I'm interested, what roasters do you all plan on approaching?

Got some ideas already but will want to wait until we get a better idea as to how many wish to participate.

To make it a 'goer' we will need 20 members.

We do need 20 to enable us to make 'good deals' with a Roaster.

You've not been forgotton but we ought to have minimum 20 in the Group initially.

I'll talk with coffeechap & maybe try to organise something after the summer, holidays etc.

I thought this might be worth a bump to see if there is any new interest - come on... add your names... you know you want to

Just starting a thread to gauge interest for a similar club to our veritable DSOL, I am fully aware that many on here prefer a more subtle roast profile to their beans and o lot of roasters that I speak to are keen to explore lighter roasting, therefore if you are willing to subscribe to a three month £60 subscription, please put your name on the list below, remember chocolates and nuts lovers beware!!

Rocket Giotto Evo, Mythos, Torr x 2, Rapha Chris King Tamper (coz they are cool), VST's, Hausgrind, Airgrind, Hario Slim, Chemex, Aeropress, Oomph, Puck Puck, Bialetti, Black Acaia scales, Acia Lunas, fresh beans

Blah Blah Blah - it makes coffee

Go on then... If you need one more to make it a goer I'll join in.

Is it intended to be £60 for 3 months and we get circa 4 x 250gms for each of those 3 months?

Is it £60 up front or £20 per month?

Yes and Yes

If its run the same as DSOL then it's £60 up front which goes into a pot. A deal is struck with a different roaster every month.

As I already said, I'm very happy to look after the finances of this one LSOL but I won't be getting involved with Roasters.

Coffeechap is back next week lets wait & see what he wants to do now enough interest has been sparked.
