I've been using a domestic Gagia and DeLonghi machine with a Dualit grinder for the last few years. A year ago I bought a reconditioned Dieckmann coffee roaster on Amazon and pimped the grinder to grind finer. I've been experimenting with different green beens from Rave but have never really been satisfied with the coffee I produced and everything just tasted a bit flat.

I bought a Eureka Mignon to replace the Dualit and things started to look up! A couple of months ago I sold my Harley and decided to buy something else that was big, heavy and shiny. After reading the forum I decided to visit Bella Barista with a view to buying an entry level machine but ended up with a wonderful Rocket R58 which I've been really pleased with. Now buying roasted coffee from Rave and might get into roasting again with a Gene Cafe but want to master the set-up I have without introducing more variable.

I drink mainly flat whites and the occasional espresso/americano and looking forward to seeing all the photos on the forum!
