I've had a scan and can find Movies threads and US Shows etc, but maybe I'm missing one that's already on the forum, if so, link it please. I enjoy a good series, I have watched quite a few, hence running out of options. I am not going to list them all as forget what I have watched most of the time. But needless to say most of the top IMDB/RT options have been done and dusted. So, what have you watched or watching that's worth it. I like a bit of everything, so no specific preference, and have access to pretty much all platforms, so no issue if its a netflix or amazon prime etc etc series. Cheers
As there seem to be quite a few people here up on their gadgets (outside of coffee machines obviously) I wanted to enquire about people's recommendations for TVs. I currently have a 40" Sony HD TV but am thinking about upgrading to 50" and 4K ready. Any particular recommendations? Not sure how much I'd have to spend but not looking to spend silly money ideally (probably up to £600 but cheaper ideally as my wife isn't convinced we need to upgrade!). I'm not averse to buying a 2015 model if it is still a good one with all the features one would require. I don't have Sky currently, just freeview with Netflix etc built in. My internet download speed is around 38mb/s so not sure if 4K streaming would be doable or not with that speed. TV is currently wall-mounted with soundbar below with a IR thingy above it to control all gadgets (Freeview, BluRay) that are located upstairs so would need to factor in any costs to swap that out and possibly relocate current TV to the kitchen (again, wife not convinced of the merits of that either but I envisage it being a welcome distraction for our 7 month daughter in future whilst we cook meals).
