I have a Rocket appartamento which blows its safety valve if left turned on for some time due to too much pressure in the boiler. When the safety valve blows the pressure in the boiler will have reached between 2 and 3 bar even though the pressurestat is adjusted to switch of a between 1 and 1,5 bar. 1: I have disassembled the machine and concluded that the problem is not due to scale. 2: i readjusted the pressurestat and tested it. When it seemed to work fine i left it turned on for a little while and it blew the safety valve again. 3: I figured the pressurestat was old and worn out so i switched it out with a new one. I then adjusted the pressure again and left it turned on for a while. Eventually it blew the safety valve again. So does anybody here have an idea as to what my next step would be? Are we talking a new control box or what? Help much appreciated
Most of you will be completely unaware, because our great team of moderators acted so quickly. Someone joined our forum and was spam'ing us with offers to buy dangerous and unlicensed medical testing kits from the USA. Within seconds of being reported, those threads were deleted and I must assumed the person blocked. Thanks to our moderators for keeping this a great place to commune with other coffee lovers. Thank you Glenn for launching this forum. It is a great place to make friends and learn the art of coffee.
Hi there all, Im looking for some advice on roasting at home. Do I need to conform to any law regs to roast in my house ( 1 kg electric coffee roaster)? do I need to have a health inspector visit? I would like to sell my coffee online. Any other advice? Thanks Dominik
