For Sale are my Bacchi Stovetop Espresso Maker and Rosco Mini hand grinder, together this offers a very capable home / off grid / camping, boating, caravanning etc. Espresso kit. It’s fair to describe both items as being in good overall used condition with any marks being commensurate with general wear and tear. The Bacchi has been described as the only true portable stovetop espresso maker which produces real espresso with real crema, on another forum the Bacchi is described as follows, 'believe me when I tell you that the espresso is the real deal. 9 bar, 90C, full bodied espresso, similar to lever espresso but hydraulically driven' There are lots of positive reviews on the web about the Bacchi, I bought it used to make espresso on my boat but haven't got around to it so can't comment on how great the espresso is (although I may try it over Easter just so I've used it). I have only owned the Rosco Mini for weeks having bought it used on the forum, its a great grinder and I will undoubtedly wish I'd kept it at some point, however, with current life events I suspect that it will end up on my worktop as an ornament for the next six months. Reluctantly, I'm including the Rosco Mini it in this deal as I think that paired with Bacchi it will be a fantastic set-up for someone that loves espresso. I will accept £300 plus £10 postage for the complete kit which is very reasonable. Collection from Coventry is welcome, payment is by bank transfer or cash on collection only please. Any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer although I've not used the Bacchi so that would probably be best understood by looking at online reviews and YouTube videos. No Offers Please as this is a good deal already and I am not selling to raise funds in a hurry. Thanks for your interest. Gerry
Morning all, you may have noticed that the OE Lido 2 is now available for pre-order. http://www.oehandgrinders.com/LIDO-2_c_23.html Before I jump in a nab one of these gorgeous looking things, I need to know that it's going to grind fine enough for my Gaggia Classic. I'm only grinding for a double every other morning, 3 on a thursday, maybe half a dozen over a weekend. I'm happy with the labour side of things (should be a pleasure to use), and of course the price when compared to a machine like the mignon (which I'd be saving for if I was getting a machine), but will the Lido 2 go fine enough to be my main espresso grinder? I think it sounds like it will from what I can find out, but I'd like a more-expert-than-me opinion on it first before ordering - just don't all go off and order them and leave me without!! thanks (did I mention it looks gorgeous?!)
