  1. This comment got me thinking.... hard I personally believe in the Osmio Zero and have found it a fantastic device, my wife the kids all love it and pull about 16 litres through each day. It keeps the coffee machine scale free and I think is a great counter top RO solution. I did a review and people can find the review on my signature link. My whole mission in coffee has been to improve things for coffee lovers, it's my hobby, my interest and I like to see things better for all of us that drink it. I especially like to see machine faults kept to a minimum. I always think it's a shame people can't really get together on forums and use a bit of buying power. As such I made a suggestion to Osmio about group buying with a view to getting more units in the hands of coffee machine users. It's expensive I know but it's worth it.....the difficulty is getting enough people together to get a decent discount, plus one person usually has to have the whole delivery and then onward ship it or wait for collections from their house.. I had a chat with Mark and this is what I have managed to get for the forum. A £321 offer. This is for 6 people who get together in a group buy and send a single coordinated order through to Osmio. For £321 you will get an: Osmio Zero Free delivery Free extra set of filters Process: To take advantage of this 6 people must get together, 1 of them needs to act as a coordinator and get details from the other 5. The coordinator sends an e-mail to Osmio [email protected] with their own e-mail and the other 5 peoples e-mail. Osmio contact each person to get delivery address and sends a paypal invoices to each person. When all 6 have paid the items are shipped to the individuals directly. Obviously the Coordinator should mention the forum, only because they may run other deals with companies etc.. and you want to ensure there is no confusion. I personally believe in the product and now leave it up to enterprising forum members. Please don't start a group buy on this thread, if you want to be a coordinator and start a group buy make a new thread to do that and start getting a list of members together. Don't ask questions like, will it be less if we order 7 or 8 etc.., the price is the price. I know there was a £299 offer done on Black Friday but that didn't include extra filters and I don't believe will ever be repeated by Osmio (as it wasn't a great business idea) based on my conversation with Mark. Please don't ask me to coordinate, I'm not interested as I already have one and please no accusations of underhand dealings or commission...I get not a penny for this or any other advantage. As a coordinator don't expect any extra favours, you will get the same deal as the other 5 and will be doing it out of the goodness of your heart. I hope it works out and the forum is able to secure members good deals with members own buying power. If the first one goes well mods can consider making this a sticky so that future coordinators can find this post. @catpuccino Perhaps you may well be the first group buy coordinator for this!
  2. Good morning all, I have a unused Osmio Zero RO water filter/kettle system in Black available (UK plug) I purchased this for my roast space after getting a white one for my house and getting on well with it. I tend to take a jug of water down to the roast space if i need it and have never actually used this black one, it still has the original set of filters with it that have not seen any water so are as new. The unit has been out the box and sat out of sunlight. The box is there with packing, i don't remember seeing a set of instructions in the box when i unpacked it but they are online. I am looking for £335 or nearest offer on this. Box is fairly large so its up for collection only initially, if it hangs around then i may look at postage options. I am located in New Romney, Kent (TN28) i am willing to travel to a certain extent to meet if it helps. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
  3. Any opinion about Osmio Hydrogen Bottle? There are a few youtube videos showing it as not the best on the market, but anyone tested it actually? The technology used there is not really clear for me, is it safe? thanks
  4. I have had the system over 2 weeks now and have completed my review. I do have a couple of areas I am still working on for some specifics re remineralisation and for sterilisation, but will publish those in a week or so. It's at least available for you guys to have a read and get a feel for the system. Some important things to keep in mind. I asked to review the system, they didn't ask me and there is no written agreement stating I have to do a review, or do a positive one. I could have just used it and said yeah it's great I'll mention it on the forum some time. They supplied a review unit at no cost to me. I don't get commission, use affiliate links and am not paid in any way by them BUT I recommend mentioning you're from the coffee forum, as I have tried to stress coffee people like us as a forgotten market for them. You might find them prepared to do a deal or throw some stuff in....just sayin. If you don't want to say you are from the forum fine...but at least try to get together with other members to benefit both of you for any deals going. If you are not on a water meter you won't make the stated savings, of course if you use bottled water in any reasonable quantity you will make significant savings If you have a similar workflow or setup to me, then you will most likely love the system, if you don't then just watch all the videos, read all the boring text carefully and see if it fits into your lifestyle. RO for me isn't a new thing, I've been banging on about it for 15 years now...but it was a surprisingly hard thing to review. https://coffeeequipmentreviews.wordpress.com/2019/01/06/osmio-zero/
  5. I have seen a lot of posts about the Osmio Zero, which I have now decided to purchase rather than an undercounter system. The Zero will solve drinking, cooking and probably some cleaning issues, but I need something for my eczema prone skin, I am really intrigued by their Vitamin C shower filter (they have a shower head too). Just wondering if anyone has tried it? Thoughts? 😊
