I've only very recently got into the game myself. I realise I'm pretty late to the party but there are plenty of coins to mine that are still profitable. I'm currently mining zcash using Claymore on x2 RX 570s. Hashrate is around 560 H/s on Flypool with 230W total system power draw. Just wondered if anyone here is also an avid miner!
HP Elitebook 8440P laptops in used condition. Still fully functional and run Windows 10 and Linux Mint Cinnamon surprisingly well. I have over 10 of these to sell. All will be configured with 4GB of RAM but this is upgradeable to 8GB. All have 1st gen Intel i5 520M mobile CPUs that are still very capable, even compared to modern Celeron CPUs. Very solidly built compared to modern plastic rubbish. I'd say battery life is just over 2 hours depending on OS installed and whether SSD or HDD. They currently have 260GB HDDs but I can put 120GB SSDs in them for additional cost. I can also pre-load Windows 10 Pro OEM or Linux Mint. Base model with 4GB RAM = £95 Model with 4GB RAM and 120GB SSD with Windows 10 Pro pre-loaded = £120 Price includes postage and paypal fees. Please feel free to ask any questions.
I'm going to have a long weekend in Bath and apart from the obvious coffee haunts - that rest assured I'll be doing my best to visit every one of. I wondered if anybody has any hot tips for what to do? I'll be with my girlfriend and our 4 month old baby so anything too extreme is out, think relaxing, interesting or food - I'm big on food (in many senses). Also, if anybody has a recommendation for an ace afternoon tea, that'd be greatly appreciated. Some very modest searching with ever popular search engines has resulted in some very modest results. . .
I'm really struggling to choose a camera and I realise asking here may only muddle my mind further but at least I may learn some things. Originally I was looking at Canon 1300D or Nikon D3300 DSLR cameras but my friend made the very good point that the best camera is the camera you have on you. I'm unlikely to want to carry round even a small DSLR with me. These leans me towards compact digital which I know are hugely inferior. Unfortunately budget isn't massive and something used off eBay is likely my main purchase avenue. I'm very keen on the Lumix GX800 with interchangeable lens but actually the GX80 (much more expensive new) seems more obtainable used. There's also the Sony A5000 and A5100 with interchangeable lens. I like the idea of a compact digital with interchangeable lenses. Does anyone have any experience with these? Budget is probably £350 max. Thanks in advance.
