Need some help, running out of ideas. I left my gaggia in the care of my parents and they well and truely trashed it. Very infrequent descaling for a year, it finally decided to pack up and water stopped flowing through the group. I stripped it, descaled everything changed all the seals. Reassembled it and seemed to be working fine. I pulled a few shots and steamed some milk then in the middle of pulling the 6th shot the flow dropped to almost nothing. I started over and pulled another shot just fine. Next day pulled 3 shots and steamed some milk, go for a 4th and flow
Hi folks im having some issues with my red baby dose. I bought it second hand and it allowed water through yhe grouphead fine a couple of times but now, nothing. I get water through the steam wand fine. I have cleaned the shower and group heads and replaced the grouphead gasket. Ive taken the top off and had a look. Whilst trying to run the water. Water is leaking out of the boiler a little, causing drips from inside the machine, not grouphead. There is some visible scale on the outside of the boiler and allen bolts where leaking haf happened What can i do to try a
Without wishing to tempt fate I thought I would share my successful fix of a problem for future reference. I've posted before in a previous thread titled 'Problem with Gaggia Classic: flow stops when heats up', but actually I think this is a generic problem that could affect many types of machines. Hi guys, I've been rebooting my Rancilio Silvia V1 of late, as it had some problems. Most are resolved but now I've encountered a new one; the espresso is not flowing, only dripping through. It starts with a tiny flow and after 5 seconds in, it stops providing espresso. The situation is as follows: Last few days I've replaced the shower screen, group head gasket and the steam wand gaskets. Moreover, I've backflushed the machine.
