Well it's better than the other way around! The base of the grounds cup has come loose on my Feld 2, what's the best thing to stick it back together with? I'm pretty sure I've seen a thread discussing this before but I can't find the right search words to locate it tonight.

For sale is my Aergrind which has had very little use. Its got the upgraded metal lid, band for arm and also a spare band and (probably) spare O-rings but these are pennies anyway if I cant find them. Great compact grinder but just doesnt get the use it deserves. Asking £80 posted.

For sale is my Feld2 Honed grinder which i have had for around a year, but in that time I have used it probably a total of 5 times. I bought it as a second travel grinder to go with my aeropress but quickly found that I dont travel that often, my aeropress stays at work and I tend to use my niche at home and so it doesnt get the use. I also did a house renovation in that time so it was boxed and stored. Anyhow, I got it out the other day and its a lovely tall, slender black grinder which is great as is the case with MBK stuff, but I think its time to move it on. These are £150 from knock, so offering this for £125 delivered. Its just like new and will be well packaged for postage. Its quite heavy (relatively in postage terms) so I reckon that could be as much as £10 so £125 posted seems a good deal for someone.

I've had a Feld2 since release a little over a year ago, and just wondering at what rate the burrs wear on these/ in general? Is it something which is pretty much not a factor for home use or will I need to replace at some point in the future?

Here is my MBK Feld47 for sale. Brand new unused After I received it i opened it for photos, then my Niche arrived so the Feld47 never came out of its box again. It is constructed exactly as a Feld2 but much bigger with 47mm burrs and longer handle. Comes in a nice wooden presentation box. £180 which includes postage.

Looking for an aergrind, ordered my Feld2 direct from Knock and honestly don't want the faff again. The price depends on condition, as well as whether it's the original model or the newer one with the metal lid. Preferably black but, as they say, beggars can't be choosers!

Hi everyone, Long time lurker. Apologies for the samey "please help me choose" thread but I am lost in a sea of burrs. I currently have both a Hario Mini Mill & Iberital MC2. I use the MC2 for espresso, the mini mill for everything else. I'm looking to upgrade and my budget is sub £200, ideally more like £100-150. I've done a fair bit of research into manual grinder as I was under the impression you get the best bang for your buck here. I'm still rather lost, so any advice at all would be appreciated. My thoughts/questions so far: Second hand is the obvious way to go right? I was going to keep the MC2 for espresso and just replace the mini mill with a better hand grinder for filter brews, is this sensible or could I replace both with a decent second hand auto for sub 200? If manual is the way to go, are these still safe to buy second hand? Seems like the MBK grinders are the best value in this area? If I go second hand auto, any recommended models? What sort of RRP do I need to be looking at for a decent auto grinder? The Minion is often mentioned here, would that represent a significant upgrade to what I have? Thanks for your time and any advice you give!

Hi, I purchased a Aergrind for travel after 1 year of daily use with the Feldgrind. After 1 week it has stopped grinding. After inspecting it I noticed the outer burr is loose and rotating freely in the body. The Felgrind has a screw through the lower of holding the burr in place, this is missing from the Aergrind. Not even a hole for it. I emailed MBK no reply. Has anyone else had issues? Has anyone ever managed reply from MBK? Could any owners please check their Aegrind for the screw. Thanks Wayne

Selling my lovely, lovely (and practically new) Feldgrind grinder as I'm under doctor's orders to cut down my coffee consumption. So, I'm clearing out a lot of equipment this month... Made by Knock Feldgrind, barely a month old, black anodised. Very light use (one or two espressos per day). It's the latest version, from 2016, with the coated burrs, purchased new from Brew Lab in Edinburgh December 15th 2016. It produces lovely, fluffy grounds for an exceptionally tasty espresso has been very decent on the occassions I've tried it for pourover. No knocks or damage that I can see and in full working order. Supplied with a set of spare rubber gaskets, o-rings and whatnot. No instructions were supplied as new, but it's MBK! Price £95 (including delivery), or best offer. Available for quick postage this week.

Looks like the next knock grinder is in testing. Looks a bit like a porlex.

I'm looking for a MBK/Torr flat tamper to fit a VST basket.

For sale is my MBK heft 585 tamper with walnut handle. Barely used and in as new condition. These are notoriously hard to get hold of and took 4 months to come for me! Looking for £30 plus postage.

Now I have had it a while, I just wanted to pass on how much easier I have found producing an even tamp with my 58.5 mm tamper than I did with the standard 58mm tamper I started with. I put this down to the fact that as well as a greater surface area and consequently more even coverage, the tamper just has to be level in the basket. There is not enough room between the inside of the basket and the outside of the tamper for it to be anything but perpendicular. Definitely pleased and luckily enough to have received my Heft from MBK in good time

Up for sale is my MBK tamper Not sure of the type but it is 328.5g total weight 58.35mm The bad points - I dropped it and theres a bit of bruising to the handle and a slight scuff to the edge of the base - neither causes a problem with tamping and the base could be made flat with a couple of minutes with wet & dry paper (barely noticeable scuff unless youre feeling for it). Photos show both The good points - delivery will be much quicker than the traditional MBK route - all funds go to the forum £10 delivered

So, I received my new made by knock tamper today and I love it. basically I ordered a 58mm and then after reading up more on tamper size on here I realised that I would probably be better of with a 58.35mm tamper to fit into my 17g la marzocco basket. So I sent MBK a message explaining what I had done and they I wanted to change my order but didn't hear back from them so I am now unsure if they altered my order and have sent me the 58.35mm or they didn't see my message and sent me the 58mm! so my question is, it's here Ame say way of telling between the two or how to tell what size I have been sent as I am finding it hard to measure with a. Tape measure! Cheers ben
